The Titanic exhibition perfectly and truthfully depicts the historical context, social and political situation in Slovakia and the world at the beginning of the

20th century. The exhibition will introduce students to the great wave of migration at the beginning of the 20th century, when thousands of people fled Europe from poverty and the approaching World War I to seek the riches they dreamed of in America.

At the exhibition, students will learn about the history of seafaring, great overseas discoveries, technical inventions, artistic trends, but also the political situation that led to the outbreak of World War I.

On the ship, in the engine room or in the dining room, students will experience a real atmosphere of luxury and poverty of the early 20th century. They will experience the splendor of the period interiors, but also the noise of the engine room and the subsequent anxiety of the real

and real misfortune.

Your students will see hundreds of original artifacts salvaged from the famous shipwreck. Exhibits include pieces of the ship's equipment, various pieces of furniture, porcelain, and personal items from passengers such as jewelry, handbags, and clothing. The Titanic World Exhibition is being developed by RMS Titanic, which has the exclusive right to retrieve artifacts from the Titanic wreck.

We have prepared special worksheets for schools with a visual overview of all the significant events in politics, science and culture at the beginning of the 20th century. We also offer students a knowledge quiz.   They will be rewarded with a gift for successfully solving it .
